“The main focus of our concern is one of existence, the fact that we are, that we live, that we are aware of our living… the core issue of life is life itself.” - Jim Bugental

The term “speakeasy” is rooted in the necessity of avoidance, particularly of the law but in broader strokes of any question of safety or stepping beyond the realms of social norms and queues.

That self-protection was necessary then, and has been for so many of us, but what if we tried something different? What if we allowed ourselves to reclaim speaking easy as more than self-protection but as a practice of self-exploration? What if this practice became more than just a means of remaining alive, but one of living more fully as ourselves?
